Last year, we were honored by a group it was a true honor to serve - the
Army Mountain Warfare School in Jericho, VT. Who knew that the only facility
for winter mountain training of all service branches happens right here in
Vermont? aVermonter provided a pig roast for their 30th anniversary
celebration on April 5, 2013 and it was truly a pleasure to serve this group
of men and women who serve us so well. Cheese platters, sausage appetizer,
mac and cheese, spiced apples, slow-cooked BBQ beef brisket, and of course,
a perfectly roasted pig were served to an appreciative crowd. The response
from the troops made our day, but as we were leaving, our day was made even
better when we were presented with the certificate of appreciation pictured
at right (click for larger view!). It turned out to be such a success that
four weeks later I was asked to do FIVE pigs for 500+ service men and women.
All went extremely well! A hearty thank you to the Army Mountain Warfare School
for all the good things they do!
In addition to providing an array of side dishes, we also work with

"My guests are STILL commenting about how moist and delicious the
pig was - they said that this was the BEST pig roast they've ever had! And
with there not being a crumb of food left over the next day, I'm 100% sure
that they were not just saying that to make me feel good :-)
thank you enough for everything you did to complete my special day - I
will absolutely use your services again and recommend you to all of my
family and friends!!"
